The Beginnings

Career life for Fritz started in the aerospace industry; a family machining & fabricating business founded by his immigrant grandfather. Even in this field of manufacturing Fritz had the nick-name "the Couch."  People sought his listening ear and experienced his compassion. This natural ability became a new passion and career as he returned to school in mid-life. First finishing up his undergraduate degree at Albertus Magnus in New Haven, CT in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, then quickly into pursuing his masters in Counseling at Alliance Theology Seminary in Nyack, NY.

With extensive experience in church ministry, missions, leadership, and working closely with pastors as well as teaching, preaching and leading worship, Fritz continued to gain extensive experience with 10 years in residential treatment settings. First as Director of Counseling at His Mansion Ministries in New Hampshire, then as a lead therapist in a private dual diagnosis group home in Manchester, NH. Finally, as Interim Director/Counselor and house parents with his wife Gretchen, for a men's transitional recovery home, in Eastford, CT.
